Alan Brogan chats about working with Fulfil

We are all aware of the importance of a balanced diet, but if there is one thing I learnt from my years playing GAA it is the importance of protein in the diet, particularly before a tough training session.

It can be difficult to manage mealtimes if you are on the move from work to training, for example, so a convenient, healthy protein snack is a welcome addition to any sport lover’s diet.

That’s why I was particularly excited by the opportunity to work with Fulfil, an Irish company founded by Niall McGrath and Tom Gannon in January 2016. Fulfil are the world’s first vitamin and protein bars that deliver 100% of your recommended daily allowance (RDA) to include 9 key vitamins, less than 3 grams of sugar and 20 grams of protein.

The Project
On this project, our objective was to increase brand consideration for the Fulfil brand by re-versioning the Fulfil artwork to produce a broad and exciting range of point-of-sale and packaging to suit any retail environment. We were also tasked with providing high quality product packaging and mobile media with vehicle wraps.

Creation of Assets
Our design team worked with the artwork ideas for the various point of sale elements of the campaign, taking it from concept through to production by developing a suite of assets which would work across several retail environments to include supermarkets, cafés, gyms and wholesalers to name a few. We created assets that included:

  • Case-tidy
  • Shelf-talkers
  • Posters
  • Wobblers
  • Bespoke branded pieces eg. chopping boards featured in David Gillick’s Fulfil video recipes.

Impactful Communication
Every project that Custodian are involved in is as unique as it exciting. We take pride in producing impactful communications on behalf of our clients.

For us it’s about telling a story, and for me, the Fulfil story is one that I particularly enjoyed working on.
