The GAA has launched details of an exciting new programme called Purchase Power which has been designed to secure special, competitive rates for an extensive range of products and services for the benefit of GAA Clubs.

After a lengthy tender process, Custodian are delighted to announce they have been unveiled as the GAA’s Purchase Power nominated print services provider. Custodian Operations Director Ciaran Reilly, and Custodian Commercial Director Alan Brogan attended the official programme launch in Croke Park on 12th October along with Uachtarán CLG Aogán Ó Fearghail. Uachtarán Ó Fearghail outlined details of the new initiative which has seen the GAA produce an initial list of products and services now offering exclusive deals for GAA Clubs, Counties and Provinces.

The initiative was developed to meet the long-standing purchasing needs of the GAA and all its units including Clubs and County Boards. It uses the collective buying power of the entire GAA to secure bulk discounts on common products and services from nominated suppliers.

Uachtarán Ó Fearghail said of the service “Ní neart go cur le cheile goes the seanfhocail. There is no strength without unity. Purchase Power enables the GAA to harness the support of all of our Clubs for the greater good of the Association. We play as a team and now we are looking to buy as a team too.”

Custodian’s Alan Brogan added, “After a rigorous tender process we are delighted to be chosen as preferred supplier to GAA units all over the country through the Purchase Power initiative launched by the GAA yesterday. The GAA plays an integral part in the lives of many of Custodian’s employees and we would look forward to partnering with the GAA in the coming months and years.”
