Custodian success at the POPAI Awards
We’re delighted to announce that Custodian has received a prestigious Popai Award for our work on Jameson Limited Edition Display 2017 for Irish Distillers Pernod Ricard!
Now in its 25th year, the POPAI Awards celebrate success and excellence across the retail industry, recognising creativity, innovation and excellence in-store.
Custodian are pleased to help fly the flag for the Irish design industry in the POPAIs this year, having been nominated in the ‘Short Run – Temporary Display’ category alongside some of the best in the industry. We were honoured to be in such good company!
The Jameson Limited Edition “Connected” Bottle suite of POS included three tiers of disruptive stands: Gold High Impact, Silver and Bronze. These were placed in strategic multiples and independent retail outlets for a 4-6-week period in the lead up to St. Patrick’s Day.
The primary marketing objective was to produce a disruptive but structurally sound walk around display that told the story of the Jameson Limited Edition 17” bottle. The secondary marketing objectives were to drive awareness of the bottle and NFC technology, to encourage purchase and to deepen advocacy levels with the target market.
The POPAI judges said of our entry, “A beautifully designed display with strong branding and clear promotion of the brand’s competition. Strong enough to hold 96 bottles, the walk-around display tells the story of the limited-edition bottle well.”
