Project: Jameson Limited Edition POS

Objective:

Develop innovative POS and create maximum impact for the Jameson Limited Edition Bottle and to ensure shoppers understand the story behind the Limited Edition Bottle.

Approach:

The first step in the process was to sit down with the client to gain an understanding of the limited edition bottle. The bottle was designed by James Early and it celebrates the brands home – Dublin. It is the flagship for Jameson’s St Patricks’s Day celebrations.

The next step in the process was to develop initial sketches for display options, emphasising the key elements of the James Early design, the Ha’penny Bridge and its iconic lanterns and the hippocampi detail of the Grattan Bridge.

Once sketches were approved, keylines were created and we began the process of prototyping. This entailed structural development to ensure stability and functionality of the display while also future proofing stand-out within the market. The custom made LED’s that created the candle like flicker effect, giving it that old lantern mood effect, were approved during this part of the process.

Upon approval of the prototype we then commenced with colour testing, this is carried out to ensure the green and cream throughout the design emulated Jameson’s high brand standards.

Result:

A unique and innovative Display Unit and accompanying POS that highlights the Jameson Limited Edition Bottle, bringing James Early’s design and inspirations to life.

The suite of POS included, Counter Unit, Cube, Neckcollars, Hanging signs and Shelf dividers providing maximum impact in store.

Custodian managed the project through the supply chain, from concept development to delivery, within budget and deadline.
