Project: M&M’s Kiss Me I’m Irish 2016

Objective: The Custodian team would like to extend warm congratulations to our client Mars Ireland, on their recent wins at the 2016 Checkout FMCG awards. They were awarded winners in the following two categories, Brand Supplier of the Year and Shopper Marketing Campaign for M&M’s Kiss Me I’m Irish.

Custodian were delighted to be a part of the M&M’s Kiss Me I’m Irish campaign which involved the design and creation of multi-channel in-store point of sale and in-store theatre for the M&M’s brand.

Approach:
The first step in this project was to localise and adapt the key visual for a national roll-out. We then began the design for the various print assets, carried out nationwide store audits, produced the approved print designs and managed the logistics which included creating different levels of POS kits.

Result:

A large scale production and roll-out of in-store POS and in-store theatre featuring Ms. Green, M&M’s much loved character! There were a number of specialist items involved in this campaign such as FSDUs, triple back boards, header boards, bunting, shell strips, balloons, standees, wobblers, window vinyls, floor decals and branded premia.

The campaign also involved a complete store takeover in Dublin Airport which incorporated the above elements along with a branded seating area to include table and stools and a branded floor covering. The result was the creation of an impactful, fun in-store experience around the St. Patrick’s Day celebration and beyond.
